The Amazon River has been home to many Amazonian at one period of time until the destruction caused by the other races. Hearing that the sport of blood bowl was such a big deal to many races these Amazons decided to destroy them in the sport they love like they destroyed there home and the home of many wooden creatures.

The grand shaman Akantha "The Burning Sun" has decided they needed help however to protect there brave warriors. Making a ceremonial sacrifice to the gods of the high heavens she ask the might sun for protection for her people while they battle in the blood bowl field. This allows her people that die's a severe death or even get a crippling injury that they will be remade in a new body.
