A band of greedy dwarves decided to go of in search for gold and treasures waiting under the strong mountains. They could then sell the precious gems and diamonds to Imperial merchants and become extremely rich. The trouble they had was that they were expected to dig the treasure up. After only a week they couldn't be bothered to dig anymore, but their thirst for treasure did not go away. They hatched several plans to get their treasure. Bank robbery: They were able to take out the bank guards pretty easily with their large pickaxes but the miners began to quarrel with each other over who was going to carry the sack of money. They made so much of a commotion that the town wizard was stirred next door, and so the dwarves were given electrocuted by thunderous clap s of lightning sparking from the old wizards' fingers. Theft: For starters dwarves dont know anything about being a thief. They walked around the narrow streets, all 14 of them, trying to look as unsuspicious as possible. They got some soot from a chimney and blackened their faces and not to be seen, but it isn't very hard to spot 14 dwarves attempting to stealthily move towards you. They weren't able to mug any humans but they did catch a cat. To their despair it was not carrying any money... Kidnapping: The idea was to get a noble's son and get ransom from his father. They spotted a grand-looking apartment and they entered. It was actually a posh bar where the well-off travellers relaxed. As they searched for a suitable victim, they could not resist a couple of pints of ale. They saw a child of around 10 years old, slightly fatter than the poor paupers they had seen on the street, go into a small room. Having jumped the child in the room, they realised it was actually a travelling Royal Hammerer and not an obese human child at all, which consequently resulted in a hefty beating as the Royal Hammerer could out fight all 14 of them. After they dealt with their bruises and cuts, the prospectors stumbled around the human town in search for comfort. After staggering from pub to pub they realised that a stadium was being constructed there. Maybe they could get money from playing in the stadium. They didn't know what the sport was or if it involved running. Some had the idea it was the local ale drinking olympics. They could surely win that, so they went to the stadium and signed up for the next season of ale drinking. They were very excited about what the winnings would be like. They started practicing for the games that day, but they were content that they were the best ale drinkers in the Empire. On the first game of the season the "Pertinacious Prospectors", which was what they called themselves, were faced with Khemri opponents. The referee told the bewildered dwarves what the point of the game was. A loud moan rumbled in the miners dugout as they realised it involved running.... On the dwarves first "drive" they picked up the ball, after a couple of failed attempts and walked, not run, to the touchline. They were happy with themselves but in the second half fatigue took over. Unfortunately Ungrim OreMiner was so shattered that when he tried to block the Khemri Thro-ra he killed himself. The Prospectors won the game but at a price. At end of the game 1-0 to the Prospectors! And they got 80,000 gold pieces for the win. but now they have to find a replacement for poor Ungrim.
