Chronicles of Krongrum the Shamed
Krongrum Forgeheart was a fiercely proud Blocker who had played for a number of travelling teams. He found himself plying his trade for a small outfit, the Miners.

One normal week the coach called his usual team meeting to discuss their next opponent - Halflings. A number of dwarves couldn't contain their excitement or laughter, especially Krongrum, who had maimed three of the little buggers last time he had faced them. It was always nice to warm up the knuckles on a few flings before a real opponent.

On the day of the game, Krongrum wanted frontline action. He wasn't afraid of those lumbering trees, and he wanted to get close to those squishy Halflings. Peeeep. A tree crashed into Krongrum , but his armour held. His armour always held. That and his thick skull. He laughed at the Tree.

Suddenly a small fist snook through the gap in his helmet. A burst of pain erupted from his nose, then blackness.

When Krongrum realised what had happened, his mind cracked. Knocked out by a Halfling! He cast aside his family name and became Krongrum the Shamed. He refused to wear protective armour, and dyed his hair a ridiculous orange colour, which he styled into a Mohawk.

Krongrum knew, the only way to shed his shame and restore honour to the Forgeheart name was to die.

In a builder against some hideous demons, Krongrum waited until the last turn to crunch a disgusting Bloodletter. Unfortunately, an apothecary patched it up, and Krongrum didn't die. The team must avenge their 2-0 loss.
