After a slow start the Presidentials battled Nome in week #7 for 1st place. After the 4-1 defeat the Mount Vernon team had lost over 1/2 its team. They ere the only team in the league besides Silver Springs not to have a tie game.

One player can make a difference. The founding father was having a record breaking season thru 4 & 1/2 games when he was killed. At the time the Presidentials hadn't loss. Mount Vernon finished with 5 straight defeats and only 2 scores after GW was killed. His will is being contested, he had no children or did he.
Season#4 Eastern Conference 7-2-0 21 pts 3rd pace out of 18 overall 8-2-0 24 pts An eight win season is always great. But 2 mid-season beat downs put a little damper on it.Mt Vernon has a solid starting lineup but will need a bench.
Season#5 Overall 4-6-0 12 pts Played in Northern/Dixie Divisions and Beer League of WC The worse season yet for Mt Vernon. They couldn't score or win in pool play -shutout 4 straight. GW's son was busted up twice. Good news no deaths, bad news same team coming back. Will they be Premier League or the Champions League?
