Background

The Strigoi have fled their ancestral home of Mourkain. Shunned by the living, and their own vampire brethren, the Strigoi have few options but to live with the zombies and ghouls that inhabit deserted ruins.

But they have found a way to regain power: On the Blood Bowl pitch!

They may not be Kings of their rightful homeland, but their adoring fans make them feel like Kings once again. Thousands of fans come to watch the Mourkain Kings each week, aided by the knowledge that these Vampires don't feed on a human spectators, but prefer the taste of rotting, ghoul flesh. This has also led to a rise of the Ghoultras: a fanatical group of Ghoul fans who enjoy nothing more than being snacked upon by their on-pitch heroes. These fans are kept in a special closed off area, for the safety of the human fans and younger spectators.

The Mourkain Kings will be bringing their brand of carnage and mayhem to the Oceania Secret Blood Bowl League.
