As the newest witch trials come to an end the church finds that Gods soldiers have become lax and complacent. The Leaders of the Church began whispering into their witch hunters ears about how the game "BloodBowl" was an evil sport created by devils to claim the souls of countless men.
So with this newfound enemy brought to their eyes the soldiers of God insisted that they form a team and compete against evil in all its forms.
Since most of the teams number were infact witch hunters and hunted ghosts, vampires and other evil supernatural entities, they took the name "GeistFlayer".
And so the fat arses of the clergy sit back and pilfer money from the teams treasury while at the same time they keep the fist of God trained and ready for the next purging of evil in the kingdoms of men.
