The Bucs are back! No, this is no Starship Troopers sequel of any kind. After winning their first five games the Buccaneers experienced a streak of devastating flops. But now, after settling all differences, they are back to old strength. Founded and leaded by one of the most talented shooting stars theres is only one thing they fear: Losing. And maybe this inexplicable decrease of trust their fans meet with. Who ever has seen the episode of Seinfeld with the Bizarro Jerry knows what I mean, their Fan Factor increases when they lose and decreases when they win. The good point about this however is, there is practicaly nothing to lose. Bucs! Bucs! Bucs! As addition to what I wrote above, it was before I rolled 1 on Fan Factor three times in a row. I confess, I was wrong: The fans of the Bucs aint actually fans, they hate "their" team. So since beginning my FF decreased for six points. Is there a better way to say "I DON'T LIKE U"? 13.07.04, 23:37 After a great 4:2 win the Bucs sorrow for James Waterloo and Vincent Verdun who both got killed fulfilling their duty. James, who bravely tried to stop an Ogre using a 1d block without reroll, succumbed to the rolled skull. Vincent, whose coach was wise enough to place him LOS in the last turn (and somehow i knew he would die, weird stuff though) succumbed to the same nasty Ogre. From this day on Sylvain Marconnay from Llanovars Heores is the archenemy of Buchanan Buccaneers. R. Dennen wont have easy play replacing this two great men. We will always love you. Rest in peace James & Vince. And just for the record, I didn't manage it again to increase my Fan Factor, despite my +3 on the roll. The fans just were to horrified by what happened on the pit. |
