No one is sure of what exactly brought the Knights of the White Wolf out of their cloister in Middenheim and into the Blood Bowl pitches of the Old World. Some say it was to show to the other Temples and Knightly Orders who was the fittest, however, some salacious rumours say it was a lost bet by the Ar-Ulric that needed to be covered...
Independent of the reason, after kidnap...hum hum... inviting a dwarf coach that was traveling through Middenheim to explain the game to the volunteer knights (ie recidivist troublemakers) team and get them to the pitch more or less sober and running in the same direction, a new team was born ready to conquer glory in the gridiron.
