Slithering out of the fetid jungles of the Hinterlands of Khuresh, the Blood Queen Manasā has risen to power. When she finally reached civilization, it wasn't the war-torn era of her childhood anymore. No more were blood and slaves plentiful to fulfill a Nagini's thirst. Instead cheers and screams led, Manasā to a stadium where she first saw the game of bloodbowl.

It was everything Manasā remembered about the old world, battle and blood, mystical creatures and more. Immediately, The Blood Queen moved back to her kingdom and announced the creation of a team to her subjects. With her three daughters leading the team, the Patala-loka Guardians were born and immediately accepted into the CIBBL.
