Whispering Myst

Since their first match a lot has happened to Whispering Myst. Players have come and gone, and only the Captain, Aruendaith, and his kicker, Elbereth, have played all games since the forming of the team.

They started out with a bitter defeat to the skaven team, Hot Stuff and Rats Inc., but has since moved on with a glorius winning streak of a total of nine victories in a row.

This streak was ended when Whispering Myst met their woodland cousins, Trees and Stuff. The game ended with a tie, a disapointment to both team that had to see their winning streaks stopped. The next two games were victories for the High Elves, but then they encountered a most devious enemy. Fanzy Bones, a khemri team, played hard against the noble defenders of a time once lost, but the elves stood their ground until the second half. In the first turn the fierce and brutal mummie, Djoser, threw a multipleblock against team captain Aruendaith and a lineman. Aruendaith went down and got badly hurt, while the lineman caught a serious injury resulting in a niggle in his knee, something that would never heal. After that the khemri horde walked over the High Elves reducing them to four players in the end, two catchers and throwers.

The game ended 3-1, and Whispering Myst whent disillusioned back to camp. Now they intend to recover from the fierce onslaught and once again be a team, that do not know the meaning of defeat.

A lot of games have been played since, Captain Aruendaith still leads his players in every game along with his prized kicker Elbereth. Though they haven't quite managed to return to their glory days of no defeats they still play as hard as ever winning when every match possible.

Elbereth, Aruendaith's kicker, has gotten a serious injury resulting in him not being able to run as fast as the others on his team. Further, it leaves team captain Aruendaith as the only player to have played in every match since the forming of the team.

Game 35 were an unhappy one. Aruendaith's starkicker Elbereth, got his second serious injoury. Now the team makes 3 laps in the time Elbereth makes 2. After much consideration Elbereth decided to stop his career, much mourned by Aruendaith, who had now lost the only player who had been with all since the beginning.

Mourning has begun upon the team. Team Captain Aruendaith has been slain. Slain by a malicious Minotaur, who goes by the name Snarlox Ramhorn, a player from the Floppy Big Hat. Never to be the same, never to be as great as before, the Whispering Myst has been reduced to a band of not knowing mercenaries tied up in a game, no one likes to continue ín. If this was indeed the end, it was a horrific one. Bu roumours tell in the lockers that the Myst is forming a new code of honour, bound in the bonds of Necromancy to keep Aruendaith's spririt close to the pitch where blood is being paid. Bound to whack, slice and burn the Myst of legends will persevere, at least for now.
