TEAM BIO

Not far from the Chaos Wastes is the Norscan city of Graelings. On its outskirts is a massive dump. All the cities garbage, offal, and waste ends up there. It become so filthy that it attracted a Great Unclean One, Cankermaw to it. The human workers there contracted Nurgles Rot, eventually becoming Plaguebearers.

As daemon followers of Nurgle their appetites continued to grow, and they maintained a sliver of their duty from their mortal lives and so they wandered to other nearby towns and cities to collect their rubbish. Nothing seemed to generate as much waste and have such a high concentration of life and death as the Blood Bowl games.

Seeing an opportunity they found the easiest way to gain easy access to the dead and injured and the filth after the game, was to take part and be in the stadium already, and so the Garbagemen were born!

A Mega Star of the league but cruelly ended as they were closing in on Legendary status. In a bitter brawl of a match. Mjoln was taken down preventing an equalizing score by Grung Hammerfist of the Karak Kadrin Oathkeeprs. We probably won't see the like of this Plaguebearer again...

The original impetus for the team, the "founding mass" you might say. Led from the front, first on the field and always last to leave. As one of the biggest to ever lurch onto a BloodBowl field, it was felled by one of the smallest, Horok Unending of the Coven of the Mirrored Hall. In the fading light long after the game a lowly groundsperson did say they saw movement from the swiftly decomposing pile towards the other corpse from that day...
