TEAM BIO The Black Rock Beasts are a popular team, followed by maniacal, devoted, and downright dangerous fans from across the Old World. Having toured the Badlands Circuit for many years, the Beasts were eager to test themselves against other creatures. Without a plan and without supplies, save for a sack of spiked helmets, two footballs, and a bag of snotlings for the journey, they hijacked a shipping vessel in the Bay of Claws and set sail. Soon after embarking, they realised murdering the crew meant there was nobody on board who knew how to sail. Nonetheless, they prayed to Gork and Mork for aid. Their deliverance and salvation was soon at hand. Smashing into the southern coast of the misty isle of Albion, the Beasts crawled ashore to pull great splinters of mast out of their bodies and count just how many snotlings had perished. It was all of them, of course. Since that fateful day, the Beasts have set their beady eyes on glory - after all, without a ship, there's no way back home. The Black Rock Beasts used to be a human team, until the local warlord forced a 'hostile takeover'. Strangely, the players kept the team colours and adopted some of the players' names, or at least an orcish interpretation of them. The club's sponsors are the Jungfreuds. The Black Rock in the team's name refers to the seat of the elite family, within the walls the original team used to train. However, following the 'acquisition' of the club, the Beasts new owners managed to make off with one of the Jungfreud's smaller vaults.
