In the other semi-final, the Grünberg Gryphons had cooly dispatched the Helmgart Sentinels, a team entirely composed of the offspring of the Reikland State Militia, which had been garrisoned there for as long as any could remember.

Whilst most players welcomed their mothers in the crowd, few could identify which of the few militiamen who had turned up to watch might have been their father. Perhaps the fact that the game was held in the wealthy Morgenseite district didn’t help as the Gryphons had a huge home advantage amongst the elite families of Übersreik and the questionable parentage of the Sentinels squad may have made acquiring a ticket from any of the padded doublet and velvet breeches wearing ticket commissars all the more difficult.

The Sentinels have a proud, military past and look forward to imposing their well-drilled plays upon defenceless opponents.
