History

She needed only four. Four poor souls, with a hunger for power and next
to no conscience. No need for talent. Just blind, egocentrical thirst
for something greater. And she got them.

After the summoning of the Matriarch, she was rewarded. Using the life
essence of the sniveling fools, she got transformed. Then she went on to
find blind fools that would do anything for a shred of power, riches,
beauty, whatever they got promised.

With the help of the Matriarch, she was able to transform another sister.
From here on out, they not just tracked and fooled victims into ritual
sacrifice, but to contribute in other ways as well. Stealing money and
secrets, recruiting new members, donating blood... all this they did
willingly, smiling while dreaming of their rewards.

The need for blood and sacrifice grew over time, the Matriarch needed to
stay ankered on this plane. The solution: Bring the brainless sheep to the
pitch and reap a bloody harvest. With enough, more sisters might come to
be as well.

Team Appearance

The Matriarch, Avatar of a powerful demon, is an artificial construct, summoned to house a fraction of her true power. Right now she is a towering three metres tall, dominating both in size and presence. She has the demeanor of a regal lady when she isn't participating in matches or rituals. Two pairs of arms, ending in massive claws are able to shred most opponents that have the misfortune to get too close. Her athletic form is hidden under a mixture of exoskeletonlike armor and raw red flesh.

Demonettes gain similar traits after their ritual transformation. The grotesque mixture of beautiful faces, seemingly flayed flesh and protruding bones can easily turn the stomach of most onlookers. Where the Matriarch is tall and commanding, the demonettes are fast and graceful, darting into enemy line to slit throats with their claws or capture happless victims with their fiery gazes.

The few loyal cultists don't follow any particular dresscode. They have to provide for themselves. Which means most of them wear whatever they think is fitting for a dark evil cultist, or whatever they could steal. The more senior members have started to show signs of mutations due to the constant exposure to their betters. They believe this a sign to be chosen. Let them.
