In the gritty heart of The Border Princes, nestled beside the relentless clanging of iron ore, lies the settlement of Rookiitown. It's a den for dwarf misfits and shortbeards, exiled from their ancestral holds after failing to meet the lofty expectations of their elders. Here, under the shadow of the imposing iron mine hill, these rugged souls endure the back-breaking toil of extracting ore and brewing batches of cheap beer for the Bloodweiser Brewery.

Life in Rookiitown is a harsh symphony of sweat, grime, and the constant hum of labor. The dwarfs here have learned the true meaning of grit, as their daily grind is punctuated only by the brief respite of a single day off each week. But even in this stark existence, a spark of hope glimmers in the form of the local Blood Bowl team.

Every week, the dwarfs of Rookiitown gather in a makeshift stadium, a patch of dirt and stone barely resembling a proper field, to cheer for their team. These matches are far from glorious; the team, comprised of the same outcasts and underachievers who populate the settlement, often finds themselves on the losing end of every brutal match. Yet, it's precisely this struggle that endears them to the crowd.
