Founded in 2484, the Lorrian Runesmiths hail from the Northern Steppes of the Olde World. Most members of the team are from the Lorrian clan whose line can be traced all the way back to the first of the olde dwarven kings. The Nothern Steppes have harsh winters and it's in these times of boredom that the Lorrians play Dungeon Bowl, earning honor for their clan in the great Dwarven arenas deep below the mountains. In recent years, a talent scout from the Kingdom leagues had stumbled across the Lorrian Runesmiths while searching for new blood and invited the entire team to come and compete for the famed Blood Bowl during the milder months. Eager to earn fame and fortune for the Lorrian clan, the Runesmiths came to the Kingdom leagues and have played every season since among the best the olde world has to offer. It's whispered that this year might be their best chance yet to secure that ellusive cup and the hoarde of gold that so brazenly crave!
