The Brightwood Mystics began as an unorganized group of players that would play exhibition games against other elven teams from around the world. After several years, the team decided to formally enter the Bloodbowl arena, and test thier skills against more powerful and vicious teams.

Brightwood has become known for the attacking style that made them a fan favorite in years past. Never afraid to enter the battle, they also possess a formidable agility that always has to be considered during the game, whether on offense or defense.

In Brightwood Forest, there is a saying that goes "Don't just adapt, evolve!" That says a lot about the team's ability to grow and learn from each opponent. They may not be the toughest, or even the fastest, but they learn from thier mistakes and punish opponents by exploiting weaknesses that they've identified during the game.
