The 7th victory in as many games for the Sadists brought a bittersweet ending - it was the tragic passing of much loved player and friend Tiffany Apostate. Always fearless (and feared) on the field, for a catcher she was never scared to get her hands dirty if need be. In a fantastic play before Tiffany was mercilessly struck-down she was to dash around an ogre LoS and deliver a pulverising blow to a goblin awaiting the ball, she then marked the remaining 3 or so ogres that were meant to be protecting the now flattened goblin, isolating the opposition ball carrier and leaving him open to attack. Although the play worked brilliantly Tiffany was to sustain a head injury in the process of the ogres relieving some stress about the botched play. An apothecary was ordered to revive the poor woman as she lay there passing in and out of seizure, the internal bleeding was said to be too severe and the healer was unable to fulfill his duties, consequently he is now awaiting his celebrity role as a sacrifice at the official commiseration dinner. Fearless in combat - loving in spirit... this was her trademark. She will be missed dearly by close friends Kimberly Razel, Lisa Fairlight and Crystal Enki (who also suffered some broken ribs in the same game) all of whom were drafted from the same college in the same year, she also built up a great relationship with team captain Mary Nepphum and Margret Astona while with the team, and no doubt will be missed by all who were blessed with her presence and will be remembered fondly as a true lady of the sport and a generous compassionate friend.
