The Tentative Tacklers where founded by Bitnack Gnobler, a cowardly goblin who was lured to the game of blood bowl by the innumerable riches it presents. To aid in his game, Bitnack hired several ogres to hold off opposing blitzers while he or one of his goblin mates scored a touch down. Despite the large fees he paid the ogres, the team was never successful, and one night after a loss by a particularly large margin the Tentative Tacklers where thrown from their luxury hostel after a cheque bounced. With no where to stay and no food to eat the ogres became restless, and led by a particularly large ogre, Fodder, the ogres turned on Bitnack, and had him for dinner. The Tentative Tacklers continue to play under Fodder, still unsuccessful, but that doesn’t stop the ogres, they’re not in it for the cash. |
