No I don´t use the DP if your teams star player isn´t lying right there on my boot. It´s for protection. I plan to get games with this team. I probably won´t max up on claws either. There are other skills out there that are more interesting. I make my fair share of cas without it. I also want to score. I just realised that Chaos doesn´t really have a playstyle that suits me. So what the hell am I doing with them in Faction? I´ll probably find out eventually... <b>And why do I play bashers in Faction? Because elves are winning the medals every round. Once someone said: "I don´t like Faction, too many orcs for my taste". Well, those orcs have dissapeared and been replaced by elves, elves and lots of elves. We need more bashers in Faction (and I´m usually an elfplayer). </b> <b>I have drasticly changed this teams playing style since I started them. It turned out that passing Chaosboys wasn´t a valid tactic...</b> Figured that a little team history is in order since I got promoted to Faction 1 (something I would never have dreamed off considering how bad it went in F2..). <b>Round 39, FQ:</b> Started the team at the end of the round and played a couple of games to get some skills. Nothing special really. Only the experience it gave. Ended 147th with 15 points after 2 games. <b>Round 40, FQ:</b> Aimed for the top. Played my 8 games, got 191 points and ended 7th. Promotion! <b>Round 41, F3:</b> Pretty bad round for me...Only played 3 games and got 33 points. Ended 5th. Probably wouldn´t have been promoted if it wasn´t for Christers ISP ;). Also encountered a new way of cherrypicking. Orcs turn me down. Dark Elves turn me down. A better skaven team turns me down. Goblins accept! Don´t get it really... <b>Round 42, F2:</b> Also a crappy round getting unlucky or totaly outplayed by everything. Stil got 122 points after my 8 games and ended 4th. And now of for some playing with the big boys. I´m also the first to admit that I didn´t really "earn" that F1 promotion ;) <b>Round 43, F1:</b> Got a nightmare start with 3 losses in a row mostly because of taking the role as Jinxed´s lost brother in a while. Then it turned and I met 3 orcteams in a row and with a bit of luck won them. Lost to the Nashir Knives in game 7 but won against the crippled Pre-Socratic Powerplay. Ended 4th with 146 after my 8 games. Only 3points from the bronze medal that wen´t to the Nashir Knives. Had I only... Pretty happy anyway though, but a bitter end when I lost some good players in the round... <b>Round 44, F1:</b> Terrible round. played 7 games and got 73 points. Placed myself 14th and thus barely escaping getting droped to F2. This is getting hard. Ageing will soon catch this team. Anyway, fresh round and a fresh start. Let´s hope it gets better. <b>Round 45, F1:</b> A pretty solid round for me for once...Did some tactics I´m not very proud off, much of it a lot of stalling....Played 6 game and ended up 7th with 123 points. Raced against Farin for a medal but he won his last games to big so I couldn´t keep up. Better luck next round. Got my second team to F1 but they are not ready for it... <b>Round 46, F1:</b> Actually had a very good round. Played 5 games and got 114 points. Unfortunately I wnt away for the late half of the round and couldn´t play all my games. Would have been interesting to see what would happen otherwise. Anyway. Despite me going away I didn´t drop any teams and still have them active in F1. A lot of fun coaches dissappeared this round though. Of to face some fresh blood. Probably couldn´t have done much anyway.... The medalists got some very good points. Almost all of them above 200 points. <b>Round 47, F1:</b> Got my first medal. A silver one. Played 8 games and got 181 points. Only 11 points after first place. Played Jinxed in the last game and had I won I would have snatched the gold. A very solid round for me. Played like I should and took a lot of crap for it. We definitley need more bashers in F1... |
