Originally a band of thieves, thugs and generally unpleasant people, they made their living making occasional raids on a diamond mine or the caravans leaving them. In the the long days between raids the Chief - H'Torg - arranged entertainment consisting of tossing around the head of some poor slave and knocking other slaves (if hit too hard...well, no problem! They just had a new head to toss around!). After some months of this going on the diamond mine arranged for better protection and the poor devils were out of business. The Chief - a surprisingly creative bull centaur - came up with the idea of BloodBowl!
