How Ash to Ash team was born...
...after the Raccon village disaster, in which the T-Virus was for the first time showed to the entire word, many new necromancer started making experiment of dead resurrection with different targets.

One of them had the quite good target to drive the word into a new discovery age, by the support of the cleverest heads that populated the chronicles of his own scientific books.
For this reason he decided to resurrect a list of ancient scientist which gave a key contribution in human scientific development, hoping that their brilliant minds would lead again to new incredible scientific progresses

The unlucky man forgot to consider that the brilliant brains of the ancient scientists were barely eaten by necro-verms or even become ash for the earth. So when his resurrecting job was done he had to sadly realize that he got only a set of almost bone head un-deads.

After one year trying to see if something good was still in his creatures mind he finished wasting his money and he had to leave his hopes.
At that moment he realize that the only thing he could do was to enroll the scientists as a Bloodbowl team, and he named it Ash to Ash, just to remind him that even in fake and vane word ash is what we really are and what we really had to be.



03 Jun 06 The Ashes season starts with a two matches in a day.
The Necromancer policy, to invite people joining the Ashes Fun Team was two match with one ticket. Unfortunatly the nonexalting matches, played against Siete brutti (Undead) and Glass Cannon's (High Elf), did not significantly increasing the Ashes funs number.
Thereports of the two matches are quite boring.
Big Siete Brutti mummy waste the ashes lines, but the real match winner was the ghoul Mouth who, during the second half, succeeded in a blitz against two Ashes bones and run into the end zone. This was a bad luck for the Ashes who did not play a bad match with two casualties each one for Raman and Heisenberg.
Against Glass Cannon's elves the Ashes played a good first half. Marie Curie got the ball and Ashes succeeding in defending her bones till the end zone.
During the second half the Ashes just controlled their half field, pushed the elves outside the field lines and succeeded in maintaining the score till to end of the game.

The Raccon Times reports a brief news highlighting the very promising Ash’s Bitz-Ra Werner Karl Heisenberg, who scored 2 casualties and 1 MVP in the two played matches.
