<div align="left" style="width: 400px;">The Norwegian football team qualified to the world cup playoffs in the USA in 1994. Group E, with Mexico, Italy, Ireland and Norway was to become the most even, with every team ending at four points. As the norwegian team had only scored once in three games, they were out. Among the players there was great dissapointment, and the coach Egil "Drillo" Olsen became scapegoat. For years, Drillo had studied the gameplay with almost scientific methods, which of course eventually bored the players. The game went into too much pre-game talk about what everyone should be doing, instead of just relying on instinct and individual skills. Being out of the playoffs, the players kicked their coach and went searching for a new one. They found NilssonHarHund, a coach who encouraged them to stop playing pancy european football and starting a career in glorious american ditto. The new game suited the norse attitude perfectly. Now it was all about getting to the field for a good old bash, and perhaps score a touchdown or two in the process.</div> |
