The Gladerunners decend from the great Loren Forest on the edge of the Gray Mountains. Playing bloodbowl in the shade of the great oaks for more than forty years, the Gladerunners became renown for their solid running and passing plays that would often leave many of the slower visiting Empire human teams flat footed and sluggish. In 2503, the Gladerunners left the safety of the Elven glade games to contest for the Blood Bowl itself in the human arenas of the Empire. They found of the course of the next two seasons that much of the old world teams rely more on bloodshed and casualties than actually playing the ball and upon suffering heavy casualties, returned to their glades to rebuild the broken team. It was at this time they signed a long term contract with Loren Blood Bowl playing legend, Morshade Goreoak, Treeman of renown and awe among the Elven people! With Goreoak at the helm, the Gladerunners have now come back to the Empire arenas this season to once more contest the Blood Bowl league and to pit their skills against the best the old world has to offer. |
