Shc'alth-xclitl's Avengers
Retired [X2] Lizardmen

The Slann are the defenders of the Old World; immense beings of power that control the very winds of magic to stem the tides of Chaos in the world. It should come as no surprise that these wise beings are the ones to whom Gods deign to communicate with. P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl (Roughly translates in wise blue bloated one) the Slann was no exception. In fact, his story is tied with one of the more twisted tales that ever spread around the Old World. His clairvoyance was unmatched in Lustria, and many voices whispered in his minds alerting him of the future.

The Chaos Wastes were the exact opposite of the Lustrian Jungles. A desolate wasteland, this barren place only served as a home for beings of utmost evil and corruption, where the land itself had withered and died due to the corruption of these mutants. It was also the foci of power for the Daemonkind of Chaos. Sargarok was such a Daemon, who lived only to spill the lifeblood of the Lesser Races.

The revered Slann P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl had managed to imprison this Daemon lord into a stone monolith for several millenia after a raging battle, and had gone into a long slumber. However, due to an unfortunate series of events, the Daemon Lord managed to enthrall Farquall, a Beastman Shaman, to free him from his prison. Sargarok was free again, and the Revered Slann P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl awoke, and took his army to fight his enemy.

[This part stolen from Dreadclaw.]
The city of Middenheim was under siege. After the hordes, under the guidance of Farquarok, as Farquaal called himself now, had laid waste to the entire northern borders of the Empire, they pushed onwards to Middenheim. His army was nigh invincible. Hordes of Trolls, Minotaurs, Chaos mutants, warriors, beastmen, and even a pack of Chaos Dragons were under his command. Middenheim would fall in a matter of days.

P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl arrived at the edge of Middenheim. In his dreams he had seen the final battle there. He knew he was to die here. He just prayed that his sacrifice would save the world.

Farquarok issued the order. The hordes moved onwards towards the terrified defenders of Middenheim. Not since the great Sigmar's time had there been such a massive scale invasion. Only a miracle could save the Humans. And that miracle started with a single word.

"M'trhighal" uttered P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl, and the hill moved towards the chaos troops, crushing hundreds of them beneath it's soil. With that, the entire Lizardman army stormed the flank of the horde. Utter disorder followed. Thousands fell under Lizardmen blades, arrows and trampling stegadons. Another few hundred fell under massed salamander shots and skink fire. In the blink of an eye, the lizards had destroyed the entire left flank.

Farquarok bellowed out a howl of frustration! The SLANN! Again that creature had foiled his complete victory! But this time he would not fail! He entered a trancelike state, and found the revered Slann. A psychic struggle of such proportions not seen since the great incursion followed. Both Demon and Slann caused grievous wounds to one another. The battle below still raged on, with the Middenheimers opening their gates and fighting with the fury of men with nothing left to lose. Farquarok's army, against all odds... was losing.

P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl saw what was coming. The demon had uttered the last hope he had. The Words of Blood. There would be no escape. He would die, and Farquarok would lose all of his immense powers forever, reduced to a shadow of his former self... but victorious. Accepting his fate, knowing that the world was at least safe P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl died, blood spraying from every orifice in his body. In lustria, every Slann Mage woke up, and mourned the loss of another of their brothers. There were so few left it was a dramatic blow to the Lizardmen empire.

The Lizardmen pursued Farquarok, but due to the ineptitude of the humans, the beast-demon escaped. The army worked its way back to the Lustrian continent, fully aware of the treatment that awaited them for losing their beloved Master.

As the approached the jungles, a great psychic wave pulsed out from the center of the island, capsizing the boat. The Skinks and Saurii managed to swim to shore, but not before losing several of their number. The survivors struggled inwards towards their temple, only to see it in ruins. The only thing that had kept it intact was the will of their revered Slann P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl. As he was dead, so did their abode.

There were several skinks standing near the ruins, all with messages from the other Lustrian Temple-Cities. The servants of the now deceased Slann P'qitoqc Shc'alth-xclitl were not allowed to go to any of the other Temple Cities for failing to protect their master from the Chaos Daemons.

Their master, dead. Their homes, ruined. Their society had banished them. All they had was the memory of the Daemon escaping... and the sight of their dead master's eyes. Sorrow turned to anger. Anger gave way to hatred. Hatred turned into a hatred for those that had caused this calamity to befall them.

Using the stones and woods around their fallen Temple-City, the lizards fashioned another ship for themselves, and sailed back to the Empire. They would kill those that ruined their lives. They reached Marienburg after several days of sailing, and started searching for their quarry.

Soon, word came to them of Farquarok's existence in a city not far away. In strong numbers, the Lizardmen went to rout these followers of Farquarok. However, they found them in a stadium, playing versus some Undead creatures. However, their vicious attacks cobbled the undead creatures quickly, and the coach Z threw in the towel to end the game immediately.

The Chaos forces left triumphant and jeering, but the Lizardmen did not chase them. They went to the Coach who was dispelling his undead creatures back into the ground, and asked to play for him. Sizing up their abilities, Z decided to take them on and agreed to help them defeat the Blood Cultists as much as possible...
