It all started in a small pub known as Mac's in a small town a couple of miles outside of Altdorf. The clientel of Mac's, and Mac himself were common men of the type found throughout the Empire.
Like all such men they worked hard in the day and drank hard at night. The only thing that set them apart from the other men of the village was thier obsesion with bloodbowl.They ate and breathed bloodbowl (they drank ale).
Although they were locally known as good players, having won several county level Beachbowl, Streetbowl and Sevens tournies, they had no illusions of ever actually making the big time. It takes big money, or a sponser to get a Bloodbowl contract, and Rich people just didnt come to ;thier out of the way village.
The owner of the Nuln Engeneers (a team recruted from the students at the engeneering school in Nuln) passed through thier village on the way home. He was alone (the reast of the team having been the loosers in a match against a Khorn Chaos team in the Northern Wastes), and drunk, and gambling.
At the end of the night Mac was the proud new owner of a real professional Bloodbowl contract. While the old owner got up and walked away, looking very happy and not the least intoxicated.
The next day (after his hangover) he gathered his buddies together and they decided (with the help of a lot of ale) to show these so-called profesionals that the common man is just as capable on the field as they are.

NOTES: This is a theme team for fun, dont expect it to be optimised for the perfect Bloodbowl team (or be even close 8-)). And as such, while i have no problem with a highly competitive game, this is not the team to play against if that is what you wish.

RESTRICTIONS: This team will never consist of any possision players. No Blitzers, Catchers or Throwers will be recruted for the team (the common man you see is too buisy working to actually have time to train those skills). Although Star players may occasionally be used,and an ogre will eventualy be hired (every bar needs a bouncer).

SKILLS: I intend to try and have the players skill up as organicaly as possible. Meaning that whatever the player did to gain the SSP to get a skill roll will weight heavily on what skill he gets. Thus if a player causes a casulty and gains a skill roll i would give him Block(Mighty Blow on a double).
