Blood Bowl, if anything, is a contact sport.
Who better, then, to represent the Culture in this titanic clash of wills and skills than Contact.
Backed with the seemingly endless resources of the Culture, and their boundless knowledge,
who could even hope to match them on the field of honour.

(While we realise that such boasting and terminology is exceedingly pointless and archaic,
the ridiculously romanticised fictional era in which we are to imagine this thing takes place
would seem to expect, require even, such banter.)

The standard was chosen based on a careful evaluation of what would properly represent the culture. The "field of honour", however, is limited in size, and therefore a quite simple route was chosen: a logo was created simply of the team's initials in Marain.
After consideration it was decided that the binary form, rather than the script form,
would make for a more dynamic emblem, both easier to recognize and virtually impossible to confuse with any of the existing standards of other teams.
