| The Low and Mean dwarf team is mostly a group of craftsmen, drafted by Bali Chipstone from his uncle's forges and workshops. They play hard, because they like Blood Bowl. They don't win much, though Krag and Bali often try to inspire the team to glorious victories. They have Dwarvish honor, and fight a game like a dwarf should. But if they feel the rules of the game have been violated then they will retaliate with tearing of beards, rending of skin, grinding of teeth, oaths to the Dwarvish and Blood Bowl gods, and vicious dwarven strength. They keep a book of grudges, chronicling their every game and every violation of the sanctity of the game's rules. They intend to give retribution for each violation. Most of the targets are Orcs. The only thing the Low and Mean team hates worse than teams which violate the rules and spirit of the game is being scored on by fast runners. It really gets under their skin that they cannot run down a Bull Centaur, or a Wood Elf catcher, or other runners. When this happens (especially without even a good brawl to prove they were trying) they stand around, curse the heavens, spit on the field, punch themselves, punch each other, and point and shout furiously at the opposing team in phrases too profane to be repeated. |
