| This team got it name from the famous Skaven band Beatless from Pool of Liver. Its the title from one of their hits. Lucy in the pie with diamonds is a song about the beautiful Skavenlady Lucy, with great big knockers. She loved the bling bling and when se broke up with a Rat Ogre wannabe. He killed her and made Rat pies out of her. A very lovely and sensitive song indeed. There are a lot of stories about this song. One of them is that the song is a contribution to drugs and the first letters from Lucy-Pie-Diamonds (LPD) shows that. LPD is a favoured drug amongst Blood Bowl players, Lame Playing Drug, and is used to spike the opponents water with, making them play slower and witless. This rumour has been denied by the band members. The song is inspired from a drawing made by the the member Lemmon-Johns son. It supposed to show his friend from school, Lucy Rat'Donald. The text is also inspired from Jewis Carrolls German Dirty movie; Alice in der Wunderbaum. |
