| Don't bother asking for a game all you starting teams with the cherrypicking coaches - you know who you are and what teams you use. Don't ask, don't knock, don't ring don't call. My Elves are fragile, glasslike crumbly things, and we don't need any big bashy teams to kick our teeth through our butts. Well, not for a few games at least. 1st 3 games were a trial by fire, testing my patience. First against Ogres, got my face mashed in somewhat, but won 2-0 and no lasting damage. 2nd was a 1 sided farce I conceded after 4 turns. The dice were absolutely nonsense and further reinforce my suspicion that if you are a higher ranked coach, you get the better dice. Garbage? Not quite - I generally get my ass handed on a plate when I play CR+20 or more, and not usually because they do anything special, they simply have more blocks succeed, dodges come off etc, and this was no exception. Play an coach if you are -20CR or more (ok, apart from Mika :P) and see if I'm wrong... This game was another such example. I quit in disgust. 3rd game was a breath of fresh air - sporting coach, I think he took pity on me after my last few maulings, and a couple of favourable kickoffs putting the ball near me (I got no results on the KO table, mind, save a shuffle one space thingy) allowed me to score. Only took 3 BH as well, and actually managed to dish some out this time, instead of being whipping boys. I don't expect my 'lucky streak' (of one game) to last though :( What an absolute total complete waste of time elves are when they can;t dodge. What RR they have are burnt |
