<p align="justify"><b>STOP PRESS:</b> LEGENDS OF THE ELDAR Captain <b>Merren Arrowflight</b> has been slain by a brutal, and entirely legal, block by a dwarven troll-slayer. Legend's chop-artist <b> Splint Ganglion</b> had this to say:<br>"I tried to save him but their really wasn't much I could do. He'd been driven into the ground head first, hard, so hard that he was virtually decapitated. Hell of a block though!"<br>In the previous match, the Legends lost their veteran Lion Warrior <b>Aelwynn Swiftwind</b> who seemed poised to become a star player of renown - until he tripped over his boot-laces laces going for the endzone and tragically crushed his windpipe on the ball. Things are looking grim indeed for the team with fans leaving them in droves, in fact it appears that only the season ticket holders are still showing up. It has been suggested, possibly cruelly, that these fans are only showing up because of the non-refund policy of League management. Many have called for the team to retire from the league before embarrasing themselves any further, this includes a public request from the High Elven Council of Players and Coaches (HECOPAC).<br>During his press release HECOPAC spokesperson <b>The Marquis Mallys de Shortshrift</b> had this to say:<br>"Get off the field!"<br><br>
Amid a barrage of derisive howling from the press gallery, <b>Head Coach Fezdan</b> made this statement.<br> "This has been a tough decision but the team no longer has the fan base to succeed in the ranked championship. They have been sent, after much pressure from HECOPAC, to play in the Southern Wastes League Fringe competition. The boys have taken it pretty hard. These guys are all from rich, powerful and noble houses, consequently this has been a difficult period of adjustment for them - <b>it's not everyday a noble gets kicked in the family jewels and has their face rubbed in the stable waste!</b> Still, I have faith in their ability to endure and fightback.... so much so that I wanted to take this opportunity to announce that my latest team - <b><a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=238068">The Eldar Phoenixes </a></b> have qualified for the ranked league....." <br><br>
