From the mysterious lands to the south this team hails, aiming to bring death, destruction, and a few spectacular touchdowns to the world of blood bowl!

Originally formed by the twins, Ulgar and Urglak, the brothers Hruthgir and Hrulgir and the late Ongrath, and joined by whatever goblins happened to be living after the ogres finished "practicing" in preparation to enter professional blood bowl.

After eight games the Southlanders were finally getting the hang of things when a harsh blow was dealt them.

In a <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1178758">controversial game</a> against <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=242736">some Amazons</a> Ongrath, one of the founding ogres, was killed early in the match. The other founding Ogres refused to go on the record, but seemed quite upset that a team of human females could cause such damage.

In their <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1185290">13th match</a> the Ogres from the South are finally showing that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with, <br>as the highly celebrated (by everyone except for the fumbled flings, that is) <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=325432">Rootstrong Ironbark</a> discovered late in the match.

It turns out that Ironbark's habit of throwing halflings didn't terribly impress the Southlanders, <br>who swarmed him in the second half to put an end to what Ulgar described as a shameful display or poor sportsmanship. <br>"'ow can he do dat? I can't do dat! Dey just go crunch wheneva I frow dem!"

The <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1204230">15th match</a> went well, but nobody showed up to watch!

If these kind of takings keep up the Ogres might have to go on short rations.<br> This could be disasterous for the ogres, they need that third pig each every night!

18 matches and things are looking grim. For the last few games pickings have been slim and the fans are leaving in droves. There is talk among the senior players of a "cull".
