This is this coaches second foray into faction with Wood Elves, the first with the Arborial Princes ending abruptly after a faltering start. Many felt that the Princes were jinxed after a run of bad luck left them 0/0/4 and heavily injured. The Sons had a run of very good luck to get them started followed by a run of equally bad luck.
