The Bashers are goin into their 29th season of Blood Bowl. In that time they've participated in 6 different league and numerous tournaments. They've won 2 league championships, both in their time in the Underworld League. This is head coach Gotrek Darkhelm's first season in charge of the team. The Bashers are coming off of a couple of bad years. Attendance has been down and many of their better players were gone due to a war with the goblins. Those players are back and the team is looking to find those winning ways once again. The Bashers play a tough, bruising style that relies on wearing their opponents down until their runners have a clear pitch ahead of them. In 29 seasons the team has only attempted 34 passes. They made two key additions to the team before this year. The first is Grug Blactoof. not known for his intelligence, but rather the pancake left affter bowling over his opponents. The other is Galin Orinson, the younger brother of team captain Dalin Orinson. Galin is quick, if that is possible for a dwarf, and is not afraid to hit you either. His "speed" will be a good addition to this team. Look for the Bashers to have a good year this year, and make sure if you play against them you have a good team apothecary. |
