Dorf Moshers is my first attempt at a Bloodbowl team, with some odd results as I learned the rules and gradually became a Bloodbowl addict. This is still my favorite team because of how random and chaotic it can be. One moment I'm an inch away from sure victory and the next I'm lamenting 4 successive failed Bonehead rolls, giving my opponent an easy opportunity to stomp on my chances to win! <b>0924/2007</b> Dorf Moshers are still rolling strong. Taking wins and losses in stride! Jikin Humvee, the ST3 Blocking Goblin retired tonight in an effort to lower the Team Rating. Thokbog, the AG4 Ogre was also retired as he'd been hit with a niggling injury a few games ago. Gombo Stomp continues to be a monster on the field as he draws ever nearer to 200 SPP. <b>11/07/2006</b> Though the Moshers suffered the loss of their last original member, Blamt Gnarl, a few days ago, the team is growing steadily, moving forward on the shoulders of their rising star known as Gombo Stomp. <b>11/02/2006</b> Rebuilding has been slow but fun. Back up to 6 Ogres and just added a second Goblin. Mwaschaks's teams have made for some fun and challenging games for the Moshers. Sometimes surprisingly close games too, considering how badly the Moshers have been outnumbered! <b>10/05/2006</b> Let the slow and painful rebuild begin! <i>Maybe...</i> I've trimmed down to 4 guys and an amazing 114/85 TR/TS. My 10 FF might hold up long enough to make some money. <b>09/08/2006 **Team semi-retired**</b>- This being my first team, I wasted a lot of money experimenting in early games with Wizards, Star Players, Freebooters, etc. Later, the team stagnated horribly and in 10 games I have been unable to earn any money at all. Retiring most of my injured and skilled players did not lower my TR enough to be below the point where I stopped making money on even a semi-regular basis. All that early experimental spending has come back to haunt me, what with Ogres costing 120k and much needed rerolls 140k. |
