After many struggles, the Greek commanders decided that they would attempt to heal the damage caused by the war and unite the citizens under any means possible, even sport. As Blood Bowl was common amongst the barbarians, and the Greeks were certainly superior, they made the decision to use thier most gifted warriors to form the Myrmidons. Achilles was named as the team captain and the team began several months of intensive training under the watchful eye of the gods, in preperation of thier emergence as the divinely inspired Iliad Myrmidons. The oracles have all foretold great victory for the team, although there will be many tragedies along the way. Without speaking names, the oracles indicate that many of the beloved heroes that form this team will one day perish on the field, and thier name will live on for thousands of years as legends. |
