| Alaitoc was a sacred grove of white oaks on the northern border of Athel Loren. It was home to a small community of Asrai and fey spirits, but they nearly all gave their lives eons ago to stop a massive herd of marauding beastmen from defiling this part of the ancient forest. An epic saga is born from their sacrifice. It's told since this sad day by the only survivor, a wandering Treeman Ancient. These legends are kept alive by young Asrai women traveling to meet with him, receiving the names of long lost heroes and taking the fight directly to the homelands of their enemies. They are known and feared as the rangers of Alaitoc by the minions of Chaos. Today, the all-female Rangers of Alaitoc carry on this war against Chaos on the BloodBowl pitch, under the leadership of their old Treemen coach with red leafs and a uselessly long nickname. He is far too slow of thought, and even more of speach, to do the daily training part of his job properly. Therefore, teamwork is a currently seriously problem for the rangers. Each of them try to steal the show with bold plays and displays of personal talents. However, this competition keeps their individual skills sharp and, more often than not, the resulting reckless moves save the day. Also, their flashy style and sexy outfits are sure to bring the crowds into the stadium. |
