Crossing the floor
strange sounds and more

then suddenly a roar!

you pull the fridge door ajar,
out spills a sickening glare
with widening eyes you stare.

Behind a lasagna lump
they skitter and jump,
little shapes so fickle
battling over a pickle.

In the middle of the bout
a shout rings out:
"Dodge this you bastard!"
followed by a splash of custard.

Just as someone spills the cream
one of the shapes lets loose a scream:
"C'mon lads, prove yourselves!"
