17 Feb 2007. As first-timers, the halflings were wipped out from the field by the dwarf miners of the Brokeback Mountain, cold team that played slow but safe bloodbowl. Everything started as dreamed, thanks to the awesome meal Chuck "chuleton" d'Avila, the cook, had prepared. But maybe it was too soon to celebrate, for the halflings never styed focus in the game. As a consequence, one little fellow never came back: Ramonet "Pernil" Patanegra died when he dared to grasp the beard of his mirror dwarf trying to collect the leftovers of a ham and beef sandwich that hung loosely. In the meanwhile, the treemen behaved more like buttercups, falling continuosly onto the ground (they complained afterwards that it was due to the accurate use of dwarf-axes!) and lynig there for several turns. The score was the best the team could collect from that day game.

18Feb 2007. Another pitiful game for the Jalapeños. Treemen doing nothing but falling, even Pastor de Nogales went badly hurt when one of its branches was cut off by the rival Treeman. Nothing seemed to work that day (Luck 42% vs 55%), and when what it might be the first touch down for the Jalapeños eventualy appeared, everything went by thanks to the last race of the defender friends of Fluffy. Only the intervention on time of Halen, aborting another touchdown for the "Friend's" avoided a bigger difference in the score. But hte death of his brother blocked him for the rest of the game. Prodo Provolone went so angry after trying to do his best in the field, passing the ball in the only offensive races for the Spicy's that he didn't even got supper after the game and went straight to the Gym! Maybe the death of his friend Pip "Pepinillo" affected him so much, that now he is stronger than any other halfling in the team. We will see how does he come back to the field.

20 Feb 2007. Another bad result, defeat for the jalapeños against a bunch of amazones, tough and relentless as beautiful they were.

24 Feb 2007. At last, the first "official" non-lost game! Against a bunch of wood elves, that started in rush, wining 2-0 in the first 5 turns, the Jalapeños managed to catch up thanks to the injuries inflicted to the elves,
that in minority, couldn't stop the Spicy's. 2-2 final result.

25Feb 2007. At last the first victory!. First time the Jalapeños are luckier then the rival (47% vs 40%), dark elves that couldn't stand the defensive halflings, fumbling again and again when trying to get away from them. The final score, 3-0, doesn't reflect the real potential of the druchies. Maybe next time. Maybe...
For the next match of the day, the Jalapeños hired the services of the Starplayer Deeproot Strongbranch, and left a victory 4-0 vs the vampires of Ardita. At the end of the match, when the Spicy's halflings were cheering for the victory, someone told the refs. that Ardita was supposed to play a tournament, which left the result no good. Again, luck was against our favorite dishcleaners.

26Feb 2007. The game against the "Fromage Qui Pue", a human team, was hard and terrible, but eventually, the Jalapeños could win thanks to theluck that was lately denying them victory. 2-1 for the halflings, may be due to the work of Deeproot, who didn;t fulfilled his contract in the last game. Victory is smiling , but... until when?
