Chieftain Brogash Kneesnapper shifted his weight uneasily on his makeshift throne as he stared at the patch of bubbling goo on the floor that had until recently been his favourite goblin servant. His gaze moved to take in the hulking monstrosity in front of him which was trying to convince the world it was a rather large and unsightly rock. First Kurzag and Lunk had started muttering behind his back, he was sure the pair of them were up to something and he was fairly sure it had something to do with the large stick with a nail in it which Lunk tried to hide behind his back whenever he looked their way. Then the huge troll which had attached itself to the bad moon tribe had managed to eat his favourite goblin and then vomit what was left of him all over his prized rhinox skin rug. Brogash had more problems than he could count (which wasn’t hard) and when Brogash was forced to count his head hurt and then the problems were often magically reduced in number, usually with the help of his trusty axe Da Basha. He felt his hand slip to the handle, it’s presence reassuring and the red mist started to rise within him.
In that moment an inflated squigs bladder flew through the window and landed in Brogash’s lap. He was just about to include the thrower in his bloody retribution when the inklings of a cunning plan started to creep into his Neolithic mind. Blood bowl! That was the answer why kill his enemies when he could get someone else to do it and have a jolly good time watching. The Warseer league had had a team drop out due to exceptional fatality levels the previous season. The search for a replacement had even reached the orcs holed up in the worlds edge mountains and so far no-one had been foolhardy enough to go up against the seasoned veterans of the worlds premier blood bowl league due to the exceptionally high risk of death. “Kurzag” he bellowed drawing himself up to his full height, “You’se is goin to be da boss of my new Blood bowl team. Da Bad Moon Bashas!”
