<img src="http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/3816/biobq3.png" /> The team name refers to Amundsen's Dessert – Roald Amundsen (1872–1928), the great Norwegian polar explorer, was served this dish by Norwegian-American friends in Wisconsin not long before he died in an Arctic plane crash. I think you'll agree it's a fitting moniker for a bunch of Halflings. The Treemen are hired from the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_great_British_trees">most respected forests</a> of Britain. The Halflings are all famous for their gluttony. So famous that foodstuffs have been named after them. All the players names are food related <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_food_named_after_people">eponyms</a>. |
