| 'Vis Uban' (lit. a place of great power) is the name these elves gave to the capital city in their ancient homeland. Because it is in such in a remote place, very few outsiders ever go there let alone try to invade them. This leaves the city's guardian force 'The Mighty Shield' with little to do from day to day except for policing the city, training and drilling. In recent times they have taken to playing blood bowl as part of their training, as it allows the guardians to experience the heat of a battle, in the absence of any invading forces. The ruler of their great city has taken such a liking to the game, that he has commissioned the formation of a team from his guards.
