Diary of a coach

20.4.2007

Remembering the times of passed glory I thought of rejoining Bloodbowl, but not as a human player but a coach.

21.4.2007

I nearby orc-camp seems willing to provide the needed manpower to fullfill my dreams... or at least to crush some humans stupid enough to block them.

21.4.2007 later on

Not much crushing in the first match. Dwarfs are though enemys but its funny to threw them in the crowd... Obviously the Dwarfs don't find that so funny.

22.4.2007

The Match ended in the late afternoon, but the orcs celebrated their first victory until sunday. Most of them reached the training in a terrible condition, but Morg one of the Black-Orcs shows how to crush through enemy lines. Although he is quite stupid it seemed as if he had learned something. During the training an new player, Morgaz Skullthrower was introduced to the team.

After a good lunch the Blackbone-Clan prepared for their next match.
A Lizard-Team. For beating up the fast skinks they trained to smash threwn melones in the air.

23.4.2007 In the Evening

The training was successful... on skink stumbled while running away from an Orc-Blitzer and two others were hit by the blocks of some Orcs. Unfortunately Raaz Felsenhirn, an average lineman, died by the hit of an angry saurus, but the recruited thrower Morgaz Skullthrower will fill the hole left by him. After the game I hired an Apothecary. I don't want to lose anymore Orcs.

24.4.2007/25.4.2007

After a lot of Training-Lessons the orcs are looking forward to the game against some Dark Elves. Unfortunately, because they are DARK Elves the game is set up at midnight. But tired orcs are still not to underestimate.

25.4.2007

The game endet 2:1 (Some orcs thought that the first half ends, but of course there was some time to play... so the elves did an easy touchdown). In the first Minute Thruk managed to crush his first skull. Now he earned his name in the league.

After the match I tried to strengthen the team and a bloodbowl-interested troll seemed like the right on for this. Because of his unbelievable hunger the orcs called him Mampf. He ate two goblins and we have to find some new helpers...

27.4.2007

Another game was played this morning (very early morning...). This Time some Chaos Dwarfes tried to oppose the orcs. Sadly the last goblin, which Mampf ate seemed to be bad, so the troll got ill and their was no chance of participating for him.

But still without, the Orcs did well and beat the Dwarfes with a 2:0. Two Enemies get badly hurt and the orcs took only slight damage. Ghaak improved his impressive ability to ignore any attemp to push him somewhere, where he didn't want to move. Thruk, like Morg earlier, learned how to protect himself from the effects of blocks.

Later on Morgaz broke his sprinting-record setting up a new time of 10:02sec for 100m (which is quite good for an orc). We also looked for a new meal for Mampf...

6.5.2007

Last week we all were very busy building a new training hall. During the week their were also two matches against wood elves. The orcs won the first one with 2:0 but in the second one we were not able to score again and the game ended 1:2 against us.

But the first loss in the season was no reason to cry, of course we celebrate even this game, because it was a rather good match.
