For many years the nobles of the Ruby Court Private Resort had succeeded in keeping the Blood Bowl craze far away from their hunting grounds and luxurious villas with oversized swimming pools. Until a cunning goblin, sponsored by the Virginblood corporation, managed to secure a piece of land large enough to cram a stadium onto it.

The peace and tranquility of the Ruby Court was instantly shattered. Soon the nobles grew tired of the seemingly neverending ruckus nearby, the heaps of drunken or knocked out dwarves, goblins and whatnot on their fields an in their forests, and the constant taunts from the Blood Bowl hooligans. They gathered a team of elves to fight back against their aggresors. Their name : the Ruby Court Guardians. Their mission : to travel the world and play the various races, making a name for themselves and showing everyone that High Elven nobles aren't to be messed with. Ultimatly the team would try their utmost to make the Blood Bowl stadium near the Ruby Court their own by defeating every challenger there.
