Always drunk (or at least playing as if they were), the Nordic Nights team is out there having fun whilst getting beaten up... What really sets the team apart is the fact that they refuse to accept being whitout a chance. Fighting to the last man, at least they never conceded a game. Due to the fact, that the average lifespan of a player is only around 2-3 games, they accept anybody who is willing (or rather stupid enough) to play for them. Most players don't even care about becoming a star, as the majority has already realized, that they won't live long enough to enjoy being a famous Star. Owner and coach of the team, Don Vincente, comments the team's philosophy as follows: "Our strategy is based on confusing the opponents. Who would ever guess a team is just out there to loose? So far, we have only won one game, and managed to accomplish one or two ties. This would be great, had we only played three games, but it were around 20..." |
