Long ago, before the sprawling Imperium of Man or even the raucous stadiums of Blood Bowl, a small empire lived through a golden age led by two sects. One sect was guided by scribes and artists, the other by industry and war. The scribes and artists survived on reason and strength of word, but the industrialists and warriors drew support from the masses with their promises of power and glory. The horde soon dubbed them the GOP (Grievous Oligarchic Paternity) and they slowly summoned enough hatred and chaos to unwittingly tear a hole in the warp. Energy drawn chiefly from Tzeentch and Khorne twisted the GOP’s pontiffs and severed them from the mortal world. Eternally rendered as Skaven, with their political power evaporated, they charged forth on the Blood Bowl pitch. They sucked on the energy of the screaming crowd. They willed their fervor forward. They are the GOP Hooligans. For win or loss, they will scourge their enemies on this fresh stage and forge a new, terrible dynasty. |
