| In the city of Mordheim, there are two things a person can do; hunt for Warpstone or play Blood Bowl. It wasn't long before warbands and mercenary gangs discovered that they could make as much money on the Blood Bowl pitch as they could in the alley ways and ruins of the city, and be relatively safer doing it. This was where the Mordheim Warpstoners got their start, hundreds of years ago. Though they are no longer made up of the remnants of failed warbands, the Warpstoners maintain their home field near the destroyed city, and hone their skills playing the teams of many different races that still converge where the Hammer of Sigmar fell. However, this is the first season where the team is making its way out of Mordheim. Under new management, the newly rebuilt Warpstoners are going on the road, and are in training to play for the Majors. Captained by thrower Karl Reichman, the 'Stoners are looking for anyone that will stand on the pitch with them. Following them out of the city are a legion of dedicated fans, intent on putting Mordheim back on the map as more than just a smudged name. Their black and green uniforms with gemstone emblem give homage to their roots as treasure hunters in the most vicious venue in the Empire. |
