| Warpstone Open Qualifier VIII: First game of the tournament was against the fearsome <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=297191">Nehekhara</a>. With the help of our old friend Zara and John the Wizard from the local pub we managed a somewhat convincing <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2499928">2-1</a> victory. Mostly due to our good and their bad fortunes in the first half. The second half brough along a nifty fireball from John to allow us to steal the ball and run it home. In turn 15 the old bones awoke and completed a decent long pass to a skeleton whon subsequently ran in for the goal. A blitz made for a tense finish but the humans managed to pick up the ball and run for their lifes. Sadly we lost <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5331335">Franz</a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5331332">Heinz</a> got a perm but all in all not too bad. |
