Hmm... two players retired due to SI's and two killed, all in my first four games. It almost seems as if someone "up there" somewhere is trying to tell me something. But as long as we can field eight players or more we'll be soldiering on towards glory. Game 5. I managed to get a win. Lost no players. Finally got money for a new blitzer. What happens? A linesman ages a niggle on his first skillroll. LOL Thought I was finally getting there. But no. In game 7 my thrower (my 10th player) made his debut. Got hit. Was ignored by the Apo and died. As if that wasn't bad enough. Later, Rudis 2 went for it. Tripped. Rolled a rr. Tripped. And died. But I still have 8 players, so no retirement yet. :) After game 8 we're back in (almost) good shape. 10 (read that, TEN) players again! :) Second half of game 9 was the most ridiculous half I've ever played! :) Down (temporarily) to 8 guys btw... Game 10 was a real pain. Nuffle, can I please have my butt back now? But I got enough money to buy player number 11! Woooooooo! Game 11. Apo failed once again. Luckily it was 'only' a mng, but that's not important. I must be well below 10% on my apo rolls thus far, counting all my teams. Back to 10 guys for my next game due to no money for a new player. Woo! I will start game 13 with 11! players! :) In said game 13, I stupidly placed a blitzer to be crowdsurfed, and he suffered a mng. But since I got winnings for a new linesman, I'll still be able to start game 14 with 11 players! Yey! :) |
