| A humiliating first <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2403588">outing</a> for the <i><b>Shrubs</b></i> left the team without a Wardancer... We shall see how they develop now on... <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2869037"> Game 3 </a>- The <i><b>Shrubs</b></i> are averaging 1 player lost per game... Will this be maintained; or will the team eventually manage a full roster... Only time will tell! <b>Game 4</b> - Another <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2869159">game</a> another <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=7212362">death</a>. The opponent claims "It wasn't me!!" after a stupid dodge into tackle zones costs <i><b>Shrubs</i></b> their replacement Wardancer... <b> Game 5</b> - Well... to look on the bright side only one permanent injury - and the apothecary finally did some good, fixing up a smashed ankle. Otherwise, I'd rather not talk about this <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2870050">match</a>. <b> Game 6</b> - No injuries for the <i><b>Shrubs</i></b>! The first block of the game resulted in the death of a pro-elf death; promptly saved by the other side's apothecary. A series of retaliations meant that the <i><b>Shrubs</b></i> were even more heavily out numbered than usual. However, no permanent injuries ensued and late in the game a pro-elf lineman fell, KIA, to a block from <i>Pointed Stalk</i>. He will go down in the clubs record books as the first confirmed kill for the <i><b>Shrubs</b></i>. Ultimately, the better coach won this <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2891628">match</a>. <b>Game 7 </b> - A pretty bloody <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2891752">match</a> against some skaven. The <b><i>Shrubs</b></i> were outclassed, outnumbered and outplayed by these rapid rats. The elves were toast with two players, including the recent signing, receiving niggling injuries. The great shining hope of the <b><i>Shrubs</b></i>, <i>Raging Torrent</i>, was also injured. Only time will tell if the damaged knee that is slowing him up will affect his performance dramatically. <b>Game 8 </b> - An even <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3107463">game</a> between a rookie rotters team and the <b><i>Shrubs</b></i>. The Woodies were out-numbered and, for the most part, outgunned. The Rotters ground away at the plucky elf defense, fracturing <i>Pointed Stalk's</i> arm in the process and scored halfway through the first half. A sneaky touchdown by <i>Twisted Branch</i> leveled the score going into half-time. Some inspired play split the rotters defense in two at the beginning of the second half - but the elves payed the price for not going for it into the end-zone. A beastman blitz struck the line-elf, who was busy dancing on the touch-line, leading to a well developed cage jogging down the pitch in the wrong direction, much to the dismay of the elves... a close defeat. <i><b>Shrubs</i></b> are still looking for a replacement wardancer. <b>Injuries Received</b> 3x RIP 3x SI (3x Niggle; 2x -Mv (1 apoth'd)) 3x MNG 11x BH <b>Injuries Delivered</b> 2x RIP (1 apoth'd) 1x SI (apoth'd) 1x MNG 6x BH <b>Skills</b> 4x Stat Increases (1x Mv; 2x +Ag; 1x +St) 1x Double 5x Standard <b>Greatest Loss at the Hands of Nuffle</b> - <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2870050">0-6</a> |
